First off if you are graduating– congratulations!! You’ve put in a lot of hard work and should be so proud of yourself! But now you need graduation pictures to capture this special accomplishment! This post is all about inspiration for your graduation pictures, and graduation outfit ideas! Poses, locations, and more 🙂
1. The classic champagne shot
Pop the champagne, you’ve earned it! If you’re using a DSLR camera, increase your shutter speed to capture the movement clearly. On an iPhone use ‘burst’ or take a video!
2. Get up-close and full body shots
3. Take photos with a friend, or a group of friends
You’ll want to look back at your graduation pictures and remember all the friends who helped get you through!
4. Take photos on your campus or a location significant to your college experience!
It’s nice if your graduation photos also capture where your college experience took place! Whether that’s your department’s building, a downtown street, your favorite park, or even the school library..be sure to take a photo there!
5. Incorporate any college activities, sports, clubs, or organizations you were a part of!
If your organization has stoles that is a great way to incorporate it into your photos! If not, use other props! (soccer ball, swim goggles, lab coat, etc.)
Happy Graduation! Have fun taking your graduation photos, and capturing what was important to you during your college experience!
