I know I just missed Halloween with this post, BUT it is actually the best time to go buy décor for next year because everything will be on sale! Growing up I was always so excited to get out all of the décor to celebrate the upcoming holiday, but when I got to college I didn’t bring any decorations and really missed out on that feeling of the holiday season! I don’t want you to feel that way! Now I am in an apartment with more space and I live with my friend who is also studying interior design, so we decided we needed to amp up our apartment for the seasons and holidays!! I’m going to share with you the super easy and inexpensive ways we decorated our apartment for Halloween this year, and all the supplies you need is some tape and a few command strips! All of these items are perfect for a quick and easy put up and take down to change out for the next holiday!
What you’ll need:
- String of colored lights
- Little skeleton (found at the dollar store!)
- Pumpkins
- Black stretch spider webs ($1!)
- Caution tape / keep out tape
- Light-Up Happy Halloween Banner/decorative garland
All we did was hang a couple of small, removable command strips, hang the lights and banner, then stretch the webs starting from the hooks, then over the material! We taped up the ‘keep out’ banners with painters tape and I also painted little ghosts on that mini pumpkin 😉 Put some candy in a bowl on your table and you’re ready for spooky season!
Happy Decorating!
best,
